Duties a combination local and regional driver can expect on the job:
Flexibility ? will run local pickup and delivery as well as regional runs depending on what is needed
Light dock work to load and unload freight
Ensure proper product placement and load securement on flatbed trailer
Flexibility in home time/days on-off ? local runs equals home time daily with other runs varying
Demonstrate ability to communicate with customers, supervisors and dispatch
Delivery of goods to end customer using a Moffett Forklift attached to the back of flatbed trailer.
Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe working conditions of the tractor, trailer and Moffett
Should any problems arise, promptly reports should be made to Fleet Services and/or supervision
Drivers will be required to transport equipment to repair facility/shop for regular maintenance and/or repair.
May be required to use in-cab technology including electronic logs or handheld DMS device
Regular attendance is required ? we are looking for consistent drivers

Requirements to apply for this position are:
At least 21 years old
A valid Class A CDL with Hazards, Doubles/Triples endorsements
An acceptable driving record that speaks for itself
A minimum of 1 year of experience on the road, verifiable
Must be able to lift, pull, push and handle a hand truck track - up to 70 lbs
Ability to operate a forklift ? previous certification preferred
Must be physically capable of turning, twisting, climbing a ladder and performing other duties on the job as needed with ease
